Hey Kat, was it you who recently purchased a Swiffer Flicker?  How's it working out?  Having carpet back up to the eating area sucks.

I got a Bissell Flip It -- I like it a lot. Its not the best vac ever, but it decrumbs and picks up dog fluff, but it does a good job on the wet side, so I am happy with it. I mop more often now, that's for sure! Not sure that's what you wanted though -- I dont think I'd use the Flip It's dry vac on a carpet.
