Fruit Dip

Sep 19, 2008 07:51

Anyone have a tried and true fruit dip recipe they can share?  You know, that white, to die for kind?  I think it's regional, you don't see it show up too often here in the PNW, but when you do, mmmmm

Thanks!

Dream Fruit Dip

12 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
7 oz. marshmallow creme
1 c. sour cream
2 t vanilla extract
2 t almond extract
1 t cinnamon

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese until soft and smooth. Add the powdered sugar and beat until well blended. Add the sour cream and the rest of the ingredients. Blend just until well combined. Cover and chill several hours before serving. Serve with your favorite fruit, such as bananas, strawberries, cherries, honeydew melon, canteloupe, grapes, pineapple chunks, and apples.

This stuff is definitely to die for!

Mine is just one block of soft cream cheese whipped with one jar of marshmellow cream.

Yum! I'm making some for a baby shower this weekend.

Mine looks like peanut butter because it's got brown sugar, but my friend makes the same thing with white sugar instead.

1 big block cream cheese
1 cup of brown sugar
1 t vanilla

cream together.

The others sound heavenly, too. V's sounds like homemade cheesecake filling. Yummm.

I don't do recipes, but if I make it I usually use a block of cream cheese and @ 2c powdered sugar. Or you can use sour cream.

Mine has cream cheese (used to use the rice based stuff and my friends actually like that better, lol!), powdered sugar, vanilla, and a bit of cool whip.
