Portugal is Spain's neighbor on the Iberian peninsula of southern Europe. The Atlantic islands of Madeira and the Azores are part of Portugal. The southern mainland is low lying. Thank you for all of this. One of the many things I love about Portugal is that it appears only as an absence on Spanish weather maps. Once a storm front wanders over into Lusitania, it officially ceases to exist, but occasionally the wind can push it back from the void. This seems to suit your aesthetic.
