Summary: Riku wanted what Roxas already had...
Friends. He had told me they were just friends. Friends didn't hold hands, friends didn't kiss one another. Just Friends...yeah right.
Sora laughed softly, sitting next to his blond headed friend Roxas, "That movie was really good, but the unrated version is better." He pointed out, "Which is why you should stay over at my house this weekend to watch it."
"Since when do you need a whole weekend to watch a movie?" Riku asked, raising an eyebrow as he tore off a piece of his role before popping it into his mouth.
Sora blushed lightly as he turned to look at his friend, "Um..." He began, before he was interpreted by the blond next to him, "It's alright, Sora, I have to work this weekend anyway."
The brunet pouted, turning to look at the blond, "But, you said you were off!" He said, frowning deeply.
Roxas sighed, "I know, but they called me in. I need the extra money, Sora." He said, his eyes almost pleading with the brunet.
Friends my ass...friends don't have to plead for understanding.
Riku's eyes narrowed before he stood up, grabbing his tray, "I forgot I have to retake a test." He said, moving away from the table.
It was hard. But, he couldn't help but to envy Roxas for what he had. The blond boy had the exact thing that he wanted. He wanted Sora. But, the blond had gotten there first.
Sora sighed heavily, "You know, Roxas, I think he's figured us out." He said lightly, jabbing his plastic fork into his foam tray, a frown on his usually cheerful face.
Roxas slowly nodded as he watched the silver haired boy exit the cafeteria, "I think you're right. But, there's nothing we can do about it." He said, glancing at Sora, "Unless you'd rather break up with me and go with him." He added, lifting an eyebrow in question.
Sora rolled his eyes, "I told you before I wouldn't do that." He said, standing, "It's not my fault that Riku waited around and you didn't. He made his choice and I've made mine." He said sternly before grinning, "I told you it'd take more than that to get rid of me."
Roxas chuckled, standing as well before placing a chaste kiss on the brunet's lips, "Yeah, you did." He said.
