In Memoriam

I learned this weekend that the man who taught me how to play 9-ball had died.

Steve Mizerak, "The Miz," passed after succumbing to complications from cancer.

I spent two weeks in a pool hall in Palm Beach in 1985 by his side.  He was a legend in a young boy's mind.

And 21 years later I have forgotten nothing he taught me.

He will be missed.
