Know of any good webhosts?

My webhost sucks. Cirtex. Do not use them EVER. My server was down five times in ONE DAY to give you an idea of how much downtime you'll be facing if you choose this company. They have at least 70% uptime a month, which is a pathetic percentage. Quick to demand your money though

If you are searching for paid webhost I rec. you surpass hosting o dreamhost... the prices aren't too cheap (but they have sometimes very nice promos!) but the uptime is pretty good. Also I've used both and never had any problems at all! If you're searching for a free host I'd rec. you bubble.nu but it's on hiatus right now :(! I've also heard good things from three-words.net

Wow, thanks for the feedback! :D I'm looking for paid, considering just how much stuff I have on this server. I pay $5 a month for mine now, which is a price I'm pretty comfortable with, but I'm not happy with the uptime :(

I did purchase the name with the hosting. I knew this company was going to get me somehow. They'll probably charge me a ridiculous amount to transfer the domain name T.T And I love jinkaku.org T.T But if I absolutely have to give it up, I'm going to have to because all of this downtime is ridiculous x.x I notice the host's webpage is never down, just their clients'! :/

Yeah, I sort of came back to it after like... a year :x I'm only now really getting into it and making all of my money for gacha in the dungeons xD; Yeah, it was really nice of them to approve me once more, I'm really grateful to tfl staff for that :)

I'm currently with HostDuplex and have been for a year this August. So far, they've been amazing. I haven't had a hitch or any downtime (that I've noticed). Furthermore, when my previous webhost went under overnight with no warning, the owner of HostDuplex personally stayed up with me (via chat) all night to transfer my files, domain name, and called eNom and everything for me. So I highly recommend them. :3

I was just going to recommend Ryk's host (because I am a lazy moocher, and I trust her word.)

I don't really pay attention to my websites enough to notice when Surpass Hosting has downtime anymore...they're still popular I think. *shrugs*

The thing is, up until recently, I didn't really pay that much attention either... but almost every time I did, everything was down x.x So it got me wondering about how much time was actually spent down? And the last two weeks of me paying attention, its been down six times, at least 45 minutes each time. There was one instance where it was down for three days straight.

They never notify me of problems either, or repair times, so I'll be working on a client's mock website and trying to show it to them and it'll be down. THAT is unacceptable to me - a hell of a lot more than just my personal sites being down.

So blaaaaargh, hate on theeeeem x.x Thanks for the recommendation! :)

They seem really great! :) I would want to go for the cheaper plan, but it only allows one domain and I host my mother's craft business and my stepfather's landscaping business websites also :(

But if they're this good, it might be worth it to shell out the extra money for a better plan... I have a lot to think about with this xD;

Thanks again for the offer my dear ♥ I still have my mother's and my stepdad's company websites to host too, and its really quite a lot of files and such. Thank you though, I mean it~ ♥
