I sat through most of the Inaugural Parade yesterday, just to see the Lesbian & Gay Band Association, the first time a GLBT group had been invited to Inaugural events of any sort

I was disappointed too. I flipped over to MSNBC and they went to commercial too. The parade coverage in general on CNN wasn't too great. Lots of other groups and bands seemed to go by unnoticed, or at least un-commented-on, as well. It was almost like they were covering the parade because they had too, but they'd rather be talking about other stuff, which is why they kept doing the split screen stuff.
