My Favorite Election-Watch Sites

I love me some election maps, and check them at least once a day during election season. The ones that break down by House district are the coolest.

My two favorites are here and hereI like the first (NY Times) site because it has a district-by-district breakdown (I LOVE the way they've mapped it! Even though I would change the geography of some ( Read more... )

I like the Times one, especially, though I think they're dreaming to think that it should be that pretty pink color instead of red. I don't think the challenger has a snowball's chance in hell.

The NYT site is wonderful! Very well-designed. The Electoral-Vote site isn't quite as pretty, but they seem to have more polling data.

Who'd'a thunk I'd end up a politics junkie? I blame DailyKos.

So where are you and everyone else going to be hanging out on Election night? If anyone is interested, we could do IRC, or just set up a LJ community for the night. Or just do email, but that's so last century.

Oh yeah, there's IM, but I'd have to figure out how to set that up...

I have chorus rehearsal that night and won't get home until about 10:30 EST, but a lot of the races won't start posting much before then, anyway, when the West Coast polls close.

Isn't there some LJ chat function being touted, now? Or does that only work with one-on-one? GMAIL allows you to chat, too, but again, I think it's just 1-to-1.
