I Mainfest as an Absence

I'm feeling better. Well, that is a bit of a lie, but you can't just go your whole life feeling sad about something. I talked to Rob last night online and it seems like things will be okay. I hope he comes and picks me up tonight, but I kind of doubt he will ( Read more... )

I'm glad you're somewhat more stable and moving on with your week. *another hug*

Yeah I've noticed in your posts about what you say about playing and how Victoria didn't like it and I can understand how she feels because it can be boring when you are new and aren't familiar with it and you're just sitting there listening to people talk. I remember doing it once last year.

:)

Yeah, that's very true. It can be very boring. I did a myth one my first time and I was bored out of my mind.

Ironcially I think we were doing a vampire one. It wasn't horrible and it was kind of interesting but I felt just so idle sitting there. I always assumed that you got up and DID things with make believe role playing type things.

Heh =)

There's table top role-playing and then there's live action. Victoria (she agreed to it) and I are going to a live action one if they let us in. I did promise her though if it's boring or something goes wrong we could leave at any time.

I think I'd prefer moving around too, (I've only done table top) but I don't mind table-top if the story's interesting and your character has free will. I think it all depends on the game-master and the people involved, though every one has different tastes and preferences

Girls have a stigmatism as gamers that is unfair but once the girls are accepted into that part of gaming, the reactions are a lot different. Most girls don't game. I do and I love it. I also like to run games. But I do everything with care. Just be careful with your GM's. Sometimes they can be a little sexist.Fair to warn you.

I'll bring the book Tuesday if I don't see you Friday. I remember now but I had forgotten it was yours (thought it was Rob's). And thanks for the warning.
