I've got myself a new toy.
Seven: *wanders through the halls of the steward's quarters, trying to figure out where the sound of children's voices is coming from*
Gorlim: *chases kids around*
Seven: *notices Gorlim and the children, takes a step back, pulling her hood closer and just watches for a time*
Gorlim: *tackles them, tickles, wrestles, genetally entertains them as well as he can with one broken wrist*
Seven: *definitely recognizes Gorlim and smirks at his injury* What happened little man? *she speaks up softly, her voice haunting and delicate*
Gorlim: *grabs both kids and shoves them behind him, making sure they know he's not playing anymore* Who's there?
Seven: *steps forward but leaves her hood on* A visitor to your 'fair' city
Gorlim: *backs away, keeping the girls behind him* I would welcome you but I don't think you meant to make yourself welcome here...
Seven: *tilts her head slightly, eyeing the children from within the confines of her shadowy hood* How do you mean?
Gorlim: I know your voice. I know your scent. *keeps backing down the hall and murmurs for the two girls to run*
Seven: I would be disappointed if you did not. I suggest you send them back to their mothers now. *gestures to the children with one hand*
Gorlim: *stands between the wraith and the children as they scramble away in the opposite direction*
Seven: *smiles softly, pulling back her hood* Well aren't you just the model of bravery? *rolls her eyes slightly*
Gorlim: I am sworn to protect them. What do you want here?
Seven: That would be telling. *smirks*
Gorlim: Very good. You can follow logic. Now tell.
Seven: Now where's the fun in that? *raises an eyebrow and gives a seductive smile before turning and walking down the hallway*
Gorlim: *chases after her* Oh no. Where are you going?
Seven: Away. Does it matter? *looks at Gorlim* I promise not to kill anything... yet.
Gorlim: It matters in this city.
Seven: So you say... *trails her hand down Gorlim's arm*
Gorlim: *pulls away* I DO say, yes. I may not be the king, but this is my city. And I'll not have the likes of you having your way with it.
Seven: I have my way with anything and everything I want. *shrugs* I'm a spoiled little girl
Gorlim: Maybe you need some discipline, then.
Seven: No. I give discipline, not take it. *walks a little faster*
Gorlim: *keeps pace* You'll take it if I give it.
Seven: *turns a corner, heading towards the courtyard* I'll take all you have, suck you dry and spit out the bones. And still, I will not change.
Gorlim: You'd be surprised. I have a lot in me.
Seven: If Sauron couldn't do it, why do you think you could? *heads outside*
Gorlim: Because I'm stronger than Sauron. I'm still here. *follows*
Seven: Do not mistake endurance for strength. *stops, turning to stare at Gorlim*
Gorlim: *stares stubbornly right back at her*
Seven: A pity you had a side chosen before I found you... I might have liked you... *gently strokes Gorlim's chest*
Gorlim: Might you have. *tense below her hand*
Seven: *her hand goes down to Gorlim's stomach and she digs her nails in* Perhaps.
Gorlim: *with a movement as sudden as a snake's strike, he catches her hand and twists it hard* Pity. You would have been... fun.
Seven: *smirks, looking down at her hand within Gorlim's* I certainly hope that's not the best you can do. My daughter can do better.
Gorlim: You say that as if I were doing anything. *dangerously benign smile* If I did something to you, you'd know it.
Seven: I certainly hope so. *easily pulls her hand from Gorlim's grasp* I do so hate to be disappointed.
Gorlim: You won't be. If you try anything, anything at all... if you so much as sneeze on a rat in the streets here.... you'll know what I can do.
Seven: And what if I have no interest in rats? What if I want something... more appetizing?
Gorlim: Don't you even try.
Seven: *innocent look* Try what? As of yet, I am completely innocent. I have not killed a single thing since my arrival.
Gorlim: Nor do I intend to let you.
Seven: Really, now. How do you plan to do that?
Gorlim: .......*shoves her against the wall with his hand to her throat*
Seven: *laughs, pulling out a knife and holding it to Gorlim's throat* You do not frighten me
Gorlim: Nor do you frighten me. *grabs the blade in his hand and tugs it aside*
Seven: Oh, careful, that one was poisoned. *mock-concern in her voice and features, but it quickly falls away* Now, do you have plans for me while you have me here? Or shall I slip away from you once again?
Gorlim: *backs down from her* Get out of my sight.
Seven: *smirks* You do have a taste for danger.
Gorlim: *shrugs*
Seven: What will stop me from... playing with other people if I am out of your sight? Say... your daughter is rather lovely... perhaps I can give her some beauty tips...
Gorlim: How do you know my daughter?
Seven: I've been around here for a while. I saw her...
Gorlim: I see...
Seven: *idly* ...I bet she has a nice scream.
Gorlim: *snarls* You leave her alone.
Seven: Perhaps. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be getting out of your sight as per request. *pulls her hood up again*
Gorlim: Fine. Go.
Seven: I will be seeing you soon. *bows and slips away*
Gorlim: *scowls after her*
I just hope he is not as much trouble as the damned Elf was.
