Nice rant, all very true. I hardly ever read fic with all the Marauders and Lily anymore because I've read all the good stuff D: I stick to the R/S side nowadays ;D

Hairspray is one of my all time favorites as well! The movie was amazingly good, I thought, especially compared to some adaptations.

Exactly! I think fangirls sort of half digest everything, and then assume :) Which is why they are idiots...

Great Rant. We should put it together in a little package and just send it out in hopes of redeeming some of the horribly misguided planks out there. Who knows? It could make the fandom a much safer place....

That's an amazing idea. Of coure, they are fangirls, so they fail to digest anything, but it's worth a try.
