Sick and Tired today.

I have some head cold.  I feel ok.  I have never felt this good during a cold, I think it's cause I'm in good shape and smoke-free.  It's really much more bearable than when I was heavier and smoking.  Thank God.

Today I am living one breathe at a time, it that is possible.  It is making me high, which is good, cause I am less apt to want a hit from something else.  Every breathe is a prayer.  I have been paying close attention to my breathing when I swim and trying to fine-tune my lung use in water as a height and pressure regulator.  It always amazes me ( Read more... )

I remembered today how very sensitive I am physically.  I can take that part of myself for granted.  I remembered an early childhood memory of  touching my body and wondering if I was feeling my fingers or my body, and could I seperate the sensation of knowledge of my hands from the sensation of my body.  This is a question which still perplexes me ( Read more... )

The new Thom Yorke album is really cool.  He's such an inventive and emotive musician and this new album brought a mix of his usual dissonant distance with a more personal message.  I liked it.

No one will hire me, so I am giving myself over as a full time street musician for the time being.  I have been on a creative spurt and the music coming out is stuff I am really happy with.  Really, really.  Like in two weeks of playing the streets I could go record an album of all new and mad good tunes.  This is coming after a lifetime (literally ( Read more... )
