Well, I've made it to the west coast. It's rainy and cool, and there are about 4 billion coffee shops, 3 billion of which are owned by Starbucks. I love it

yeah, I know that, but it's the only reason I figure out for the french bi lingual thing up here. It's not just on detergent any more either... it's on a lot of stuff... just weird.
Scary thought.... That brings up another interesing Seattle point. You know how most cities, if there are ethnicities they are either centralized in one place or the city is mosly that ethnicity? Yeah, not so much here. We've got Asians running about everywhere, and there are just as many Indian families, but what I don't see a lot of are Mexican families, or just your usual WASPy old bastards (Course I think those people mostly stay in Bellevue and Issaqua, where it's safe and very WHITE.) The African-American ratio seems about normal for the city size... but I just don't see the Italians, Germans, or Irish that I've grown accustom to in places like Chicago. I miss my roots!
