I'd like to see their birth certificates...from the sovereign nation of Wingnuttia!
I've been following this whole "birther" conspiracy thing for the past couple of weeks. It's very entertaining. If you haven't been following, here is my summary:
Obama birth certificate conspiracist (hereinafter referred to as "Birther"): Obama was born in Kenya!
Administration: No, he was born in Hawaii.
Birther: Show us his birth certificate!
Admin: Okay, here it is.
Birther: Show us his REAL birth certificate!
Admin: Um, that IS his real birth certificate.
Birther: I demand to see the REAL birth certificate!
Admin: Yeah...I just showed that to you.
Birther: Why won't you show it to us! What is he hiding???
Admin: Are you even listening to me?
Birther: He's Kenyan! He's a British subject! His middle name is really Mohammed and he changed it to be more electable! Show us the REAL birth certificate!
Admin: ..."Hussein" is more electable than "Mohammed"???
Birther: Show us the Birth Certificate!!! LET'S ALL DO THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE!!!

My favorite snarky response so far, from a comment thread on the Washington Post:
I know for a fact that the Hawaii "Certification of Live Birth" is fake, because Hawaii does not exist.
"Scientists" point out "Hawaii" on their "Globes", but the indisputable fact is that Hawaii is off of the edge of Earth's disk, and if Hawaii was where they said it was, it would be on the bottom of the disk of the Earth, and everything there would fall off.
If you don't agree with me, you are stupid and uninformed. I know it's true because I read it on the internets.
Some people claim to have been to "Hawaii", but they have been fooled by the government. They were taken in planes to Norton Air Force Base and placed in virtual reality simulators.
