I'm about to go give notice of my impending resignation to my boss. I'm a bit nervous. I feel a little bad, but I'm not sure why. I made it clear when they hired me I wasn't going to be around all that long. I'm giving them almost a full month's notice, even though it means I will probably end up involved in the search/hire of my replacement, ( Read more... )

Dork. :) I'm going to be a lab assistant for the vector ecologist in mosquito abatement. Raising chickens and testing dead birds and ID'ing and raising mosquitoes.

I think it will. If not, I'm not really much worse off than before, where I keep taking crappy jobs and spending the money from them to make myself feel better.

its definitely better to give it a shot, than always wonder what would have happened if you had. and its always better to go full speed ahead with something you're passionate about than to remain stuck doing something mediocre. how optimistic I've become over the last year or so!

someday I'd love to sit down and chat with you about what you're up to. I have a distinct feeling that its something else I know I could never possibly do in a million years. I love that.

Indeed. My goal is to do that and still remain a relatively normal person. Well, as much as I am to begin with, I suppose.
