So.... Daisy is 'channelling' "Archie" ?? darpadownrange January 30 2007, 19:20:30 UTC
So the rebellious spirit of the Kings' dog Archie, (who barked at airplanes and helicopters). Who was VERY fond of swimming in the creek and (lest we forget) that once apprehended after an escape, would wait to hear the 'clic' of the leash snapping into his collar and then promptly fall to the ground and play dead.
VERY difficult to drag an 75 pound dog up the street back to 'his' house.

Then an hour later....."Archie, come back!" would echo down the street.

Yup she MUST be channelling Archie.....

Houdini ain't shit on daisey.

i've checked the fence over and over and i can't figure out where she's getting out.
of course after watching for a half hour one assumes they won't do anything and sure enough, when i got to let them back in, "hmmm...weren't there two of you?"
geena: *slobberslobberslobber smile cock head to the right, try to look confused*

We never figured out how Star would get out either, until our neighbor across the street saw it happen. Basically she would throw herself against the fence, each time a little higher, and eventually have enough momentum to flip over and land in the bushes on the other side. Of course, she wasn't nearly so fat as Daisy.

It is eight hours ahead of you in the States, for example (regardless of WHAT time is 'timestamped' by LJ) it is now 0928 AM on Wed.
45 days until the cruise!
