The epilogue exists. At the time it came out, I felt weird about it because it clearly was her earlier writing and grumble grumble, but I don't care anymore; it is what it is. I will see you all at Kings Cross on September 1, 2018.
DW DAY 25: Favorite Who Actress

So I'm basically loving on the Series five actors. They're acting stands out because of how bad the writing is. With RTD's stuff you didn't notice the acting because you believed so much in the story and the characters that you didn't think about the fact that they're actors. But with series 5, you only had the actors to cling to, and you appreciated them immensely because they were your shinning star. Now, I only have seen Matt and Karen act in Doctor Who, so I can't judge them based off anything other than their DW performances, but Karen is amazing. She defined Amy Pond in a way I didn't fully appreciate until 'Vincent and the Doctor' and even more so when I rewatched 'The Eleventh Hour.' It's really subtle and gradual, but she did a lot to convey character growth, and her delivery is spot on. Also, she's a ginger, so she gets extra points.
