Time for the first real Doctor Who episode of the season, and by real, I mean filler, because that's what this show is all about. It's also River free, so I am happy (the Tardis is crowded).
It should be noted now that the thing I'm most excited for in this episode (besides Borg girl) is the trailer at the end for Neil's episode.
- Oh Siren villain, what a great excuse you are to include some wonderful Murray Gold singers
- Opening title... speaking of which, I went to see Thor last night and the end credits were flying through space and wormholes, so me and friend Kate automatically started singing the Who theme.
- The season of plaid.
- Amy being awesome and gryffindory.
- Rory stop dying all the time.
- Woah, she just poped up there didn't she.
- Does everyone get to go on the Tardis this season?
- That kid practically murdered that guy.
- Who cares if it ends up anywhere, it's better than being stranded... but the mermaid stole it.
- How more times can this kid piss me off this episode.
- But this bit by Matt is great with him breathing on the metal.
- Getting glass all over the place probably isn't the best safety plan.
- Borg lady!
- Dead.
- "The Tards! -hugs-"
- Why the heck did they waste all that time dragging him to the Tardis.
- 11 nervous face
- Karen Gillian, stop being brilliant.
- And so the pirates became... Space Pirates!
TRAILER FOR NEIL'S!
-Why are oods back?
All that build up and that's all I have to say about the trailer. It didn't really show anything I didn't already know.
Overall, this felt like a proper Doctor Who episode; it had the right structure and it didn't need any other episodes for it the make sense.
