Time to watch the Doctor Who episode I've been waiting my whole life to watch (or you know, since 1996)... no pressure or anything. -emergency lowering of expectations-
- We open on a fabulous junkyard
- Questionable use of Ood
- Woah, a signal from the Time Lords to adventure, so classic.
- No power of the Tardis outside the universe, Doc.
- The Doctor's Wife is the TARDIS, dun dun dun.
- The clip they showed us at Wondercon was a lie, it didn't have the dialogue over the Time lord message for from the Ood; it was just the whispers.
- Or memories of Time Lords caught in a matrix.
- Doctor's always ditching companions when Time Lord are involved... Jamie, Zoe, Sarah Jane, Leela...
- She is the Tardis! So happy about this.
- The tardis with no lights on makes it look bigger... makes it look likes 8's Tardis.
- Your sonic isn't a tricorder.
- It's a Tardis junkyard... oye, that's so brilliant... and now you're all thinking i'm just saying oye because I'm watching DW, bu no, I actually say oye sometimes.
- I hear Neil's voice all over this episode. Fantastic.
- Tardis corridors. I've missed these. Used to see them a lot more with 5 and that zero room, which actually got cut from this episode.
- I love that they're talking to each other, and I love that the Doctor just nerded out about it along with me.
- Blue Peter classic-esque console XD
- Rory is always getting hurt this way.
- Giant circular time energy... so not a regeneration... not omega.
- Thank you for the prettyRory appreciation.
- Oods are always being used as tools.
- 9/10's Tardis, oh you beautiful thing. You look so great in this lighting.
- Not Omega, at least not yet.
- "Shutup, not like that." Something with how his hair was just there... I saw Two and then I saw Five.
- "A bed, with a ladder, you can't beat that."
- The console room is his room.
- He's running like Two now =D
Preview:
- I'm so impressed with the art direction this season.
- I've seen a lot of pictures of the coming episodes, but I probably know the least about them.
Well I knew, as of a few days ago, that we wouldn't learn about the Doctor's actual wife, or the mystery of Susan, so I'm not disappointed at all because I knew going in not to expect it.
But guess who has two hearts and just had their dream of watching a Doctor Who episode written by Neil Gaiman and an episode where the Tardis was a character come true? (psssst its me becuase Marlena can totally vouch for me being a Time Lady.)
PS The only water in the forest is the River.
