Doctor Who 6x08: Let's Kill Hitler
First of all I hate the title of this episode. Murder is never something to joke about and is never a good thing even when we're talking about most historical evil human being who has yet to grace the planet. Just becuase he is a mass murderer doesn''t mean more blood should be spelt. That's why, even though it is historical, it worked out so perfect in a literary sense. He was a coward and a murderer, and suicide was the perfect literary ending. not that I'm saying suicide is something to celebrate either. I will never celebrate the death ogf an enemy, becuase the loss of life is never something to celebrate.
Anyways, I really haven't enjoyed Moffats era, I don't like what has happened to Doctor Who, and I doubt I'll like this episode.
Also, the whole Hitler things seems very deterinte from what was going on in the last episode, which by the way was poorly done. It was just a bunch of stuff happening for the sake of having something look cool with no real substance.
Sigh -pushes play-
- Little British cars will always remind me of Chamber of Secrets
- He doesn't find her becuase she's regenerated
- OH MY GOSH LONG COAT. DOCTOR HAS A LONG COAT!
- Mel... the new companion?
- What the hell is wrong with this girl? Is it possible I like the last Mel more? But seriously who's first request is to kill Hitler?
- LITTLE RORY!
- Actually the Titantic did sink becuase the Doctor didn't save it.
- I love how young Amy is still the tallest.
- Who steals a bus? Umm, The Lady Christina.
- She shot the Tarids D= D=
- ROBOT JANITOR
- Captain in chair! #startrekforever
- Even the elevators are like the one's on the Enterprise.
- And I just realised it isn't a robot, but a ship. Fantastic.
- I never got the whole replicating everything but glasses. I mean if you can replicate clothes you can surely replicate glasses.
- I don't care if he's a Nazi, he's a human and he's scared. This is why I a'ways relate to the Doctor more than the companions.
- They're too early, ummm this time period is too delicate to be making mistakes in.
- "Shutup Hitler"oh man, so weird.
- War crimnals, The Doctor was pardoned. He was the freaking president of Gallifrey. They're probably after River though.
- Damn it River. Hiding uner regenerations.
- I love when the Doctor secretly has the one up.
- BANANA GUN!
- Kiss of death.
- I never thought I'd be more annoyed by River, but I guess this will help me like who she becomes more.
- Time Lords, first thing on their mind after regenerating is always the outfit.
- Seriously a bike, but not glasses.
- Rose... Marhta, Donna. (all from promo photos of Journey's End).
- I love how Rory is a big enough science nerd to but two-andtwo together while every other companion is clueless.
- These guys are really slow on addressing the whole antibody issue.
- "The Doctor? Doctor Who?"I love it everytime!
- Sonic cane... oh my gosh, he would.
- What is the question... well of course, we don't the ultimate question to the ultimate answer (42).
- Tell her what? ... his name (I know that's not what he said)
- Okay seriously, how many times do we have to kill him?
- Okay this does fix this death without ruining the timeline, but she won't be able to regenerate again, as we all know.
- She used all of them? So there still is a limit.
- Obviously, the Doctor knew when he was going to die, how else could he invite himself.
- Jeez, they can't figure out who's murder when it was obivous from everything they overheard.
PREVIEW: Damn creepy dolls, way to finally bring up my phobia Doctor Who.
Okay, i'll admit. I did like this episode, but I know I'll never like River/Doctor.
But the sad thing is that I only like this episode because it clears a lot of River crap up that shouldn't have existed to begin with. I miss my Doctor Who. This isn't the same DW that I fell in love with and I always get annoyed when I hear people are starting with Moffat's era.
PS There was mini rant about the Scottish from the Doctor and no mention of Jamie, tisk tisk.
