The packed bags speak for themselves. Do we sometimes need to leave this built up monstrosity to find some peace of mind? Yes. The moment I get out of the car and inhale air that actually does more good than harm to my body, I feel my entire body exhale in relief. The tall
and half asleep beauty
dribbled inside and sat
at the table next to me in the lecture
Who before was quiet, loose and not awake
laughs deep, moves, and sips black coffee
her only vice
caught in black waters marred
she turns the page of her book
and under the lecturer

well first your the first person i've commented too this year. lol
your poem is small and powerful lol afterall its the 'little things' in life that matter.
we are told to read and put ourselves in the shoes of the narrator, but I saw you there cos when i read it i saw me not just watching, but motivated by what you were doing, feeling. it's true, one's actions speak louder than words. well thats what i felt when i read ya lines. what was/is that motivation? Honesty.
and i can honestly say...I loved it.
you have a safe and great Easter.
See Ya.

Fabulous entry Amy- you really contextualize the Keats poem beautifully- give it the context in which it can sing, and then I love your own romantic efflorescence as you turn your attention to your own immediate surroundings and shape that song of praise to the glories of your own existence.
Well done!

But yes the word "dribbled" also caught my eye as a slight discordance... but I am sure you had some heart-felt reason for this...
