I dont think that it is wrong to abuse your gifts for your own benefit, afterall, everybody has their own reasons for doing whatever they do. Even the highest act of altruism could be said to be seeking soem sort of self-gratification or redemption from one's own self.... but good still comes of it, because it is a true and pure act if these reasons are evident and nothing is hidden.
I think once we start doing what is really and truly good for ourselves this is good for others also, it just reflects out through happiness and positivity.....
