Rushing…everything was rushing, just as a heartbeat of a person. The life is consisted of hours, of minutes of sand… and it slowly falls down in a closed sand glass, cruel… but sweet… like a rose which had thorns... Painful…
Tick tack tick… the watch on Akanishi Jin’s wrist stopped the same time the heart of the young man he was holding in his arms.
And he realized the cruelness of it… life is just a bubble.. which can fly away and break so easily. Like a small faint flame, which stands alone and shines through fog…of happiness and of sadness.
It just shines and shines… like a candle, a self-destroying burning, which will be shorter and shorter in every second. At the end it will be exhausted and a simple breeze can blow it away…for forever.
Jin felt such sorrow in his heart and soul, it was not the time, it shouldn’t be the time when he has to say goodbye… The coldness and emptiness he felt was unbearable, as if he was standing in the middle of a snowstorm… where the harsh freezing wind slowly makes him surrounded by ice and at the end an ice doll stands with eyes open, but not alive… eyes cast at the eternal snowfield.
He heard himself shouting… a name so important to him. He doesn’t even know where he was, looking down at the unmoving body in his arms, blood was everywhere. He was in kind of shock. Reality hit him only when he heard the harsh noise of the siren of the ambulance and saw the red color… red as blood…
He saw doctors and helpers step out of the car and running to them as he looked up, hope filled his teary eyes.
„Help him!” He whispered as the doctor kneeled down to check Kazuya’s pulse and looked at his watch during it. The next second… when the doctor looked directly into his eyes sadly and shook his head… Jin thought he will go crazy.
„Help him damnit!!!” He demanded „Please!”
The doctor’s words hit him hard „We are late. Sorry, but we can’t help this young man anymore. He is dead.”
„No!!” Jin shouted and held Kazuya closer. „He is not! He can’t be!”
The doctor signaled for the others to put Kazuya’s lifeless body into the car, but Jin refused to let him go.
„No!” He shook his head, his body trembling. He was desperate and he bended down, trying to give Kazuya’s life back with mouth-to-mouth breathing, but it was futile… deep inside he knew it will be, but he had to try. He was crying hard now.
„Just… please… one try can’t harm… use the defibrilator!!” Jin pleaded and the doctor was shocked at the young man’s expression.
„I beg you…” Jin continued and more tears fell onto Kazuya’s cheek. „He can’t die… not now… not so soon… not instead of me…” he squeezed Kazuya’s hand.
The doctor sighed and signaled to the others to make the machine work. It was not impossible to bring someone back if it was within 3 hours since the heart stopped, but he highly doubted it will succeed in Kazuya’s case. He lost too much blood.
Two men pulled Kazuya out of Jin’s strong hug and lied him onto the stretcher. Jin followed them and took Kazuya’s hand, eyes filling with hope as the doctor ordered the men to begin to use the machine.
„Please Kazu, please!” Jin whispered.

Light… warm light surrounded him… pure and welcoming…white… he felt comfortable, warmth filled his body… but somehow one of his hand felt warmer. Kazuya looked around, not knowing where he was… seeing just whitness whatever direction he looked at. Slowly, the whiteness began to fade away, but was still there like a really thin curtain of mist.
His eyes widened as he looked around again… beeping ambulances, red lights everywhere, crowd of people who wanted to see what happened and… the next thing he saw made him be surprised even more… Akanishi Jin was kneeling next to a stretcher, squeezing somebody’s hand and crying. Who is that person? He wanted to go closer, but he stoped immediately as he heard a name flowing out of Jin’s mouth in desperation „Kazuya…Kazuyaaa!” He was kind of glad the other adressed him in his given name but was sad that Jin was such in a sorrow. He was more curious who the person was so he came next to Jin and stoped shocked. It was his body lying there motionless on the stretcher, his hand who Jin held so desperately. The same hand he felt so warm.
The white light suddenly appeared again. It was blinding, but he could look straight into it… it didn’t hurt his eyes. He could feel how it called him and he started to take steps towards it, but the warm feeling in his hand pulled him back and made him remember… there is someone who is waiting for him, he can’t go away, no matter how peaceful and inviting the light was. Jin…
He just stood there, in the middle, looking into the light and then at the hard crying Jin, then back into the light and back at Jin again. He heard his name over and over again and felt the warmness in his hand pulls him back more.
He listened as the doctor spoke: „Akanishi-san… it’s futile… I am sorry… let him go.”
„No no no! Just… one more time!” He heard Jin say and all of his body began to warm up. He didn't want to go into the calling brightness and was glad the hand held him back. He knew now that he is on the border of life and death. And that he is given a chance to choose. Go into the calling and welcoming whiteness or going back to life… with full of stress and work… but on Jin’s side. Even if his love for the other boy is unreturned…yes.. he always loved Jin…but never told him.
„Kazuya! Do you hear me?!” He heard Jin say. „You can’t die, you can’t!! Come back… come back to me!! I promise I will never be cold again, I won’t avoid you!”
„Akanishi-san, understand he is…”
Jin ignored the doctor. „Damn Kazuya, I love you!! You can’t leave me… I still hadn’t had the opportunity to tell you this and suffer from the slap I would get for saying it.”
The doctor sighed. „Last time. 400!” He ordered and Jin screamed Kazuya’s name the same time the button on the defibrilator was pushed. Kazuya felt a teardrop on his face and that the pulling of the hand became instant. He closed his eyes. The yearning to going back to life, to Jin’s side was stronger then the light. He felt himself swaying away and felt a harsh chrash with pain and then darkness. But the warmth of his hand was not phantom touch anymore, he felt it with his own skin.
The heart machine began to show signs of life and beeped at the rhythm of Kazuya’s heartbeat and Jin immediately looked up from Kazuya’s hand where he buried his face with tearful but relieved eyes. He was shocked but he was happy beyond belief. Kazuya is back!
„Kazuya…?”
The doctor was stunned, and he didn’t understood this. As soon as he got conscious from his surprise he quickly ordered the helpers to put the young man into the ambulance, and so they did. Jin very unwillingly let Kazuya’s hand go and followed the ambulance with his own car which was parked near.
