You're just playing along with them when you call it "intelligent design." Call a spade a spade; it's creationism. It's a lot harder to argue against INTELLIGENT DESIGN than it is to argue CREATIONISM. Intelligent design sounds like it's based on intelligent ideas. Creationism makes everyone thing of old crotchety Bible-thumpers in old movies like "Inherit the Wind."

and who actually made the quote "the theory is based upon scientific evidence not religious premises?
I'd like to have a talk with this person and see where the hell they're coming from.
