Okay, so one thing to NOT do on your first day of a new job is to fall asleep during the insurance orientation. The HR lady pulled me into her office to ask why I fell asleep. The main reason was that I only had about 30 minutes worth of sleep the night before (I was pretty nervous with it being my first day and all. My brain would not shut up ( Read more... )

1. It's pysically impossible not to at least doze in an insurance seminar.
2. Congrats on the job and the gift certificate.
3. Why bloody blood blood? I'm trying to figure out why or where you get your "I keep thinking about's". They seem to always be the seed for your work.

Blargh. They changed the layout formats. DEESKUSTING.

Anyhoo, I am really liking the new job. It with Brinks in their new building over on Hardin Valley Rd. I don't like the commute, but I love the view and the building. Lots of greens inside and the halls aren't straight (with the exception of the main ones). They go at angles or have curves, etc. They have this really funky carpet too.

As far of the "thinking of" stuff, ideas will worm their way into my subconscious and take root and remain until I exorcize them via making a drawing. Kess Bloodysunday I have NO IDEA where it came from. The name just popped into my head. As far as "bloody bloody" I am pretty sure it came from an Electric Six song. Drawings usually involve sometype of apropriation from my immediate surroundings/stimulus.
