I've been having some really surreal moments lately. I'll be walking to or from class through the city, and listening to my music, and its like everything just slows down and its beautiful. i quite enjoy these moments, and i truly hope there will be countless more that await me ( Read more... )

Sigh, James... All i can say is, sigh. That is the most melancholy thing I've ever seen you say (sad that i have to "see" you say things). But you know you really shouldn't worry. You will some day have a girl who will always be emotionally and physically there for you. Worrying about things just waists time, takes away from things in front of you. What if, while walking around Vancouver, you walked right past the love of your life? BUT you were thinking about the absence there of, which made you miss it. Granted, that probably didn't happen... but what if it did? I miss you. -JB

In my biology class, I recieved demerits for angrily denouncing my instructor when he wouldn't agree that all human action is a direct result of the will of Jesus, Satan, or some combination of the two.

In the interest of wasting as much time as quickly as possilbe, I must insist that you continue dwelling on things you cannot change. Life is a game of Uno, and the winner is he who can play all his cards first. Time is cards in this metaphor.

Also, I recall a picture of a girl in a dress riding a bicycle side-saddle through grassy hills. It was one of a series of many posters depicting various establishments and features around Boise, this one promoting the foothills as a popular place to ride bikes (though the bike in the picture isn't the type one would generally ride in the foothills). Based on the other elements in your described image, though, this poster is very likely unrelated.

I'm going to send you an Of Montreal song from Satanic Panic in the Attic now.
