My mom's boyfriend plays base and says using the Guitar Hero guitar is impossible, because he keeps trying to play it like a real instrument, which is not what the game wants.

However that's just a side note to this awesome story. You've really got to tell him to fuck off from now on. Never tie yourself down out of the "comfort" of having known someone for a long time or the fact that they are family. A dick is a dick.
