Oh hey, is this thing working? Oh Good.

[The camera comes on to Vriska's face for a second before turning to the road in front of her.]

Dump the stupid Magicarp and go after its evolved form. It's pretty sweet and saves you the trouble of having to waste a slot on your team.

First of all, I don't even know where to find the evolved form. Second it's more fun this way. Than I get the satisfaction of knowing it's badass because I made it that way.

[Well, that response has got him interested.]

So you're that type, huh. Pretty soft of you, willing to put in all that time into something that might disappoint you in the end.

[Ouch. That hit a sore spot with her considering that's exactly what happened with it's name sake.

She grits her teeth.]

I wouldn't call it soft at all! More perhaps that I like to be in control of what goes on around me. Whether it's creating the ultimate, unbeatable boss to fight against, or raising some stupid fish to be the most bad ass fucker around.

[That gives him pause; on one hand, he's clearly getting her into a corner, so shouldn't he be pushing it? But on the other, he can't help but grudgingly relate to what she's talking about. How annoying.]

And you think you're capable of doing that? Even if the stupid fish had the potential to grow up strong, if its trainer is weak, it's gonna end up a worthless piece of shit no matter what.

Well it's a damn good thing his trainer isn't weak then! I'm actually the strongest where I come from, and that hasn't changed one bit!

[Only she's been here a little over a month and most people have been here for months on end. But Vriska Serket is far from weak.]

Oh, really? I'm so impressed [Ah, delicious sarcasm]. So what makes a girl like you so awesome that she can make that sort of claim? Or is everyone from your home just such total losers that it makes you look good in comparison?

Besides having all the skills, and gaining all the levels, and having all the luck, all of it. I am just pretty awesome by nature. And while the rest of the people back home are pretty losery, it's not because of that, that I'm awesome. Quite the opposite I'd say.

Besides who are you to talk, huh?

Hard to look awesome when you're bragging about a Magicarp. If that's the best you can do, you have a pretty sad life.

Me? [Oh, it's only one of his favorite topics, glad that you asked!] I'm a Hyoutei team regular, so it's only natural that I'd be an expert on who is and isn't strong.

I could be bragging about more than a Magikarp. I just think it's more impressive if you take something ridiculous, like this stupid fish, and turn into something awesome than if you take something awesome and just make it more awesome.

Also I have no idea what a 'hyoutei team regular' is. That means absolutely nothing to me. And I consider myself an expert on who is and isnt' strong as well. So far you're not doing too well.

Then brag about the things worth bragging about. How often does something ridiculous become something awesome? Never, because it was born a loser and so it'll always be a loser. That applies to Magicarp, too; it won't become awesome because of you, it'd naturally become a Gyarados whether you were its trainer or not.

We're only one of the best tennis teams on the middle school circuit, but I guess I shouldn't expect someone like you to be aware of those better than them.

Well if you manage to actually get the thing to a high enough level to evolve I think that is an accomplishment. It's not going to change, if you don't train it, dumbass!

Besides, what the hell is tennis anyway? How does 'tennis' make you 'better' than me?

[video] dirtytalker September 2 2011, 23:58:06 UTC
Instead of using that time to train a better Pokémon? That's not an achievement, that's a badge of shame. I told you, save yourself the trouble and dump the fish, unless you really don't have anything better to do.

What kind of idiot doesn't know what tennis is? It's a sport, duh, and being damn good at it takes talent and a shitton of practice. Only the best of the best make it on to Hyoutei's team, and naturally I'm one of them.

I have plenty to do. I'm a busy girl, got plenty of irons in the fire. I won't be wasting my time on this lame fish.

I'm sorry for not being all up on Earth sports. So what, you're good at this one sport, and this somehow makes you ooooooooh-so-amazing. Puh-leeeeeeeeze.

Doesn't matter how many "irons" you got if they're all as pathetic as this one. Seriously, when are you gonna to mention something impressive? You're getting boring.

It's obviously not the only thing I'm good at, but if you can't even appreciate how good I am, I almost feel sorry for you. Too bad I have better things to waste my pity on.

[Ouch, way to hit a troll where it hurts. Pity is a big thing with them, but she grits her teeth, tries to pretend it doesn't bother her.]

You want impressive then. I'll show you impressive.

[She snatches up a Pokéball and releases a Pokémon she hadn't intended on sharing really. It hadn't been her's to begin with, left behind by someone else. But she turned the camera to face the Aerodactyl that now stood before her.]
