I was one of them for a while, did my share of hitch-hiking and general debauchery in the early 90s. I eventually did get a degree & go to grad school...and then make a career in an entirely unrelated field. heh.

Earthsea?! does that have anything to do with the ursula le guin series? I remember reading the first one when I was a tyke and it was very impressive... it felt more authentic than most fantasy, almost on a middle earth level. is this television or cinema? what's the name of your wizard character?

Yup, the le guin series. It's a mini series for the sci fi channel. I think I'm literally called "Young Wizard". I think it's a glorified extra sort of. i really have no clue what's going on.
