I think I punched myself in the face in my sleep last night.

I have a small bruise just below my lower lip and the inside of my mouth is cut where it would have smashed against my lower braces. It hurts. I hope I at least won the fight!

I went on a date yesterday. On of my few days off since i have been back, and I drove to Niagra Falls to meet up with a New York State Trooper that I met in New Orleans. We went for lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and toured around Niagra for the day. It was quite nice ( Read more... )

It's 6:00am and I still haven't slept.

Last night, i awoke at 4:00am unable to sleep.

My body is in a timezone nightmare, and i dont know what to do.

I'm contemplating staying awake the entire day but i have a feeling that my will power will say otherwise around 2:00pm.

I can not get used to this squatting toilet. Apparently, it's fairly common around Asia and India. Basically in the toilet stalls there is a ceramic hole in the floor and gripped edges for your feet, and you just squat and do your thing. Arrived in Kuala Lampur, Malysia yesterday and WOW, what a place. We've decided to slum it a little and get the full Malysian feel - we're staying in a small guest house in the heart of the city - and over top of a Reggae club...lol.
