So...Can I Not Trust Myself?

Someone once said you shouldn't trust anyone over 30. I believe it was in this thread - http://www.toonzone.net/forums/showthread.php?151011-I-can-t-be-trusted#.UIDsRIYudRGRead more... )

We're all adults, OLD adults, that kids won't trust. The birthday was pretty awesome!

It better be...I still felt like a teenager when I was in my early 20's!

Thanks! And I trust you to do what you have to if I ever go rogue. You still keep that piece of kryptonite handy/

Keep a piece in my lead lined wallet. And some Red Kryptonite just for fun.

Be careful. In my world, green means "stop" and red means "go".

Turning 30 is overrated. (Or underrated. I'm not sure which.)

Yeah, it's just a number and not much of a milestone unless it's going along with other major changes in your life.

Happy belated birthday! I did a similar lj post a few years ago and you helped talk me through it. It's really depressing to think you can't be trusted anymore but I think it's actually just supposed to be a joke and not real. I still trust you, anyways.

Thanks! Yeah, it's just a joke. Did you appreciate the old TZ thread of yours I found? I've been waiting seven years to bust that one out! Can you believe we've known each other longer than that?

I forgot I wrote that. Honestly it wasn't turning 30 that scared me but turning 35 really bummed me out. At 30 I was still young but 35 meant I was middle-aged. Enjoy these five years Chris. You'll never get them back. I wish you the happiest of belated birthdays and that your next five years are the best.

Middle aged? I don't know about that. Take a good look, Matt. I've been like this for 30 years and haven't aged a day! And didn't Virgil say something about 50 or 60 being the new 30 or 40 or something?
