Yeah, it took me like two weeks to recover, I'm old, okay?

Anyway, this is going to be a bit lengthy and have pictures, so here's a cut...

That sounded like a bunch of fun, Chris. I would have been intimidated talking to Kingsley in person, I think.

He was intimidating because of how relaxed he was and precise with his speaking. Good thing it was a roundtable interview and I was with other reporters!

My main problem with Ultimate Spider-Man is that I like the supporting characters best: White Tiger, Aunt May, Coulson and they don't get a lot of time or development compared to Peter.

The DVD is an old pre-Batman movie from the 1930's called The Public Defender about a rich guy who goes around at night dispensing justice without anyone knowing who he is.

Your initial impressions of the Marvel cartoons are right. Ultimate Spider-Man feels close to the source material, but they are very written for their specific demographic and very juvenile. Lucian is too old for them. Nox is about the right age, but if Hulk and the Agents of SMASH gets a third season, by then, Nox will have outgrown it by then.

Awesome! Glad you had a great time! The Fred Tatasciore interview sounded like a lot of fun. I hate Hawkeye too.

Yeah, Fred Tatasciore is cool and he seemed to be having fun with it. Hawkeye would be fun if he had, well, dimension.

I think Hawkeye could be fun if the show weren't so badly written. He didn't have much dimension on EMH or in the Avengers movie either, but I liked him well enough in both projects.

Personally, I love Hawkeye. He's capable in his own right but at times gets over shadowed by being with more powerful heroes and smarter leaders. He's tough and he holds his own, despite being kind of a loser and having a tough time with romantic relationships. He's got an ongoing series right now and it's probably the most fun and best written Marvel Comic at the moment.

Ooh, I'm very intrigued by that 1947 penny now, I'll have to look for it!

I give all 1947 pennies to my mom.

ComiCon sounds so fun but then, everyone else says it's really expensive...

Would you recommend trying for tickets?

I'm guessing your mom was born in 1947?

Comic Con isn't that expensive in and of itself. It's the transportation and accommodation (and even food) that adds up. Have you been to any Cons before? Comic Con is great, but tickets are tough to get.

Yes.

I've been to MegaCon twice; once in 2002 and again earlier this year.
