I will also post the unanswered songs in my lyrics meme. Chances are, I will have to look some of these up because I've forgotten what they were, and even I don't know the song.

3. I try to sing this song, I try to stand up, but I can't find my feet (U2, "Gloria) - sadly, I don't even know all of the U2 songs I possess. I really like U2, but didn't listen to them my whole life like everyone else. I should catch up.

5. Save the wrapping for another. Dressing doesn't mean a thing to me. (Jimmy Eat World, "Speed Read") - I think I downloaded this off a website. Never heard it.

6. In a little while surely you'll be mine, in a little while I'll be there (U2, "In A Little While) - I know this one.

8. You and me were at some goldfish pond and I, I was tagging along for the ride (Yo La Tengo, "Don't Have To Be So Sad") - another random download that I love. There's something really cool about the way this song sounds, like, the production of it is really interesting.

9. Your private life drama, baby, leave me out (The Pretenders, "Private Life") - from the debut album

12. I want a god who stays dead, not plays dead (The Dandy Warhols, "Nietzsche") - don't know it.

13. The moon is full but there is an incompleteness (Barenaked Ladies, "Sound of Your Voice") - from the new album - my favorite band, by the way.

14. If you walk away I walk away; first tell me which road you will take (Bright Eyes, "Land Locked Blues") - Got this from Nick. Bright Eyes seems to be an acquired taste, but I'm starting to like some of his stuff.

15. It was so right, it was so wrong, almost at the same time (Alison Krauss & Union Station, "I Can Let Go Now") - I'm so happy Nick gave me some Union Station...what wonderful music.

16. When I sat down on the bed next to you, you started to cry (Wilco, "At Least That's What You Said") - don't know Wilco yet.

18. See me comin' to town with my soul, straight down out of the world with my fingers (Beck, "E-Pro") - I like this song. However, I got the lyrics off the internet. I guess that's what he says, I can never really tell with him.

19. Seems like just yesterday you were a part of me (Kelly Clarkson, "Behind These Hazel Eyes") - What?! What the hell are you looking at?! You can't judge me!

20. Today she dresses for the change she's facing now (Collective Soul, "She Gathers Rain") - Nick gave me a bunch of Collective Soul, primarily because I asked him to give me music other people were listening to in college when I was listening to Christian music. I've never really gotten into this band for some reason. Maybe I should listen some more. Or maybe they're just not my thing.

21. Please come tempt me, you've got something good in mind (Guster, "Great Escape") - don't know this song yet, but Guster is a band Nick gave me that I'm in the process of falling in love with.

22. She's got one big breast in the middle of her chest and an eye in the middle of her nose (Broadway Cast of Big River, "The Royal Nonesuch") - this is a delightful early-'80s musical based on Huckleberry Finn with music and lyrics by Roger Miller (of "King of the Road" fame). John Goodman was in the original cast, as was Rene Auberjonois, who you may know as either Clayton from "Benson" or Odo from "Deep Space Nine". He was one of the singers of this song. I saw this show just after I started my first theatre class in high school. It is probably more responsible than even I realize for my love of musicals and my love of theatre in general.

26. I met a man traveling down the road; he looked me in the eye and he gave me a ring (Alison Krauss & Union Station, "The Road Is A Lover") - sung by awesome guitarist Dan Tyminski, who also sang lead vocals for the Soggy Bottom Boys on the soundtrack of O Brother, Where Art Thou.

27. I'll start this off without any words (Nirvana, "On A Plain") - another band that I was scared of when everyone else thought they were cool. Stupid damn fundamentalist Christian West Texas.

28. Again and again I get up and say I only want to get it right (The Dandy Warhols, "Mohammed") - Pretty much the only song I know by the Dandy Warhols is "We Used to Be Friends," for obvious reasons. But I dig the band, and I'm sure I'll grow to like their stuff more.
