I think its pretty well decided that I'm going to buy a bike. It's down to:

1. This is a killer bike, it will dust 800's and 900's and its the 20th anniversary edition

2. Honda and their tried tested and true reliablity and sexiness with this nice 800 CC

3. Suzuki's sport touring 750 that combines speed with a bit more comfortMy insurance

3) I have always believed (and mostly practiced this belief) that a person should heed the advice of those who care about him/her especially when it comes to the practical knowledge that these caring people have but most especially when this advice is in regards to my above two statements. People who care about you argue and give advice because they care.

4) I care about you, and like the rest of your lj readers, along with the many, many people who know you and care about you, I cannot support decisions that you make if I think that they will endanger you in any way.

5) I want for you to be happy, and as scared as I am that you want a motorcycle at all, I would feel much better if you heeded the advice of friends who have experience and knowledge in this area, and chose something that would offer you more safety.
