So its been awhile everyone. Heres teh 411.
So its been an eventful year. My fiance's business is riding the profit line hard. I mean, we're just barely making it. Gas and food man, but theres light a the end of the tunnel. I just dont know how long the tunnel is, getting shorter though.
My fiance is going through a nasty custody battle. I'll give you some background.
For the last 4 years or so, her ex-husbands new wife has been stealing things from her, but never getting 'caught' and because of the kids, Deb has never really 'done' anything about it other than trying to talk to them. She is a meth head and is very jealous of Deb (my fiance). Deb would be looking through her closet looking for some pants and they would be gone. She stole lots of clothes from her. She kinda resembles Deb, but on years of meth. Its scary. So finally, in june, she had enough. We went to their house and found some stolen flower pots and her ex just made excuses. So thats when we tried to get a restraining order and she started a court battle over custody.
Man, its been long and hard. She is so consumed with this. I mean, i dont blame her. The kids, the theft, the ex, money, company on the verge of being closed down, 2 years of overdue taxes. She is so lost. I feel bad for her and try to help all I can.
I started a new job recently. I was working with her, but with all of her stress, its hard to work with her and get along. You cant really come home and be a couple. Your ALWAYS co-workers. So now I work at a software developement company. Its a good job. They are a fast growing small company and I am learning alot. This will be a good stepping stone on my way to entrepeneur. The people I work with are really cool too.
This also give me some freedom and time away. She can do her thing, and then at the end of the day, we can enjoy each others company.
We have also moved twice. We sold her 1200 sq ft. house in livermore (and broke even..) and moved to Brentwood. I liked Brentwood alot. The people were really nice in town. There were nice shops and it was just really cozy. Our house was 4100 sq ft. We were renting. It was nice.
Then her exhusband decided that was great ammo for winning the court case. A 'move-away'. But it really wasnt. That didnt matter in court. A bad lawyer and the judge says, lose custody, or move back to Livermore. Fuck.
So we moved back to livermore. Now we're renting a 4800 sq ft house in a nice quiet area there. Its nice, but kinda secluded. I like the area, i just wish we were in Brentwood. I liked the downtown there better. But maybe someday. The house is much nicer though. 'Warmer'.
So thats all i've got for now. Might do a little more work for away. I'll be posting more as I remember what its like to speak to other humans. I have been on lockdown for a long time now. Just consumed with my fiances drama ( i dont mean that against her at all).
