It's funny how the deer and Takaya both had similar reactions to being interrupted, though the deer ran away while Takaya confronted him.
And Takaya probably is on the police's wanted list (or at least that's what I gathered from the previous novels?).

Ha... actually the part about the deer caught my attention too. Like you, I actually find it comical..on Ushio's anticipation for a deer.
