Don't be someone I have to heal, Naruto. Please. I have enough to worry about with Sasuke of all people deciding to play the hero without having to worry about you and heal the people in the Library.

[the sound of curtains flapping on an empty room. The rustle of paper. Faintly through the open door there is chaos as younger students are herded through the portrait hole.]

Naruto Uzumaki, as your acting Head of House, I swear by Merlin's beard that if you do not come to the Great Hall I will have you polishing crystal balls until your fingers fall off!

[the sound of a howling wind coming through a crack in the wall, near to the journal left behind. Rustling of paper. Rustling of more paper. There is chaos through the open door from the commotion downstairs and through the halls, but the noise is diminishing.]

Uzumaki, calm down. This is hardly the time for such heroics, and I doubt that you persisting in them would give Sakura any relief from her current position. If anything, giving her less stress would be the best option of aid right now.

Think of yourself, and stay with the others. Do not do anything overly rash.

[A breeze, subsiding. It is almost completely silent in the room now, except for the skittering of hollow quills on a page. There is noise outside, high-pitched, stressed conversations held by younger students, but the last fragments of conversation, animated though they are, are passing out of the common room.]

[The pages of the journal rustle and flip. A faint skritching begins, the sound of wood on leather-binding. A pause. Then a muffled thump on the ground, and the flickering of pages again. Nearby there is a muffled thud as another scroll unrolls and hits the ground.]

((ooc: Naruto's in the library log now, so he won't be coming by. Also, he left his journal in the room, so all Sasuke is getting right now is Naruto-dorm sounds.))

[Konohamaru's voice is weak and pained, it sounds like he's walking but one of his legs scrapes against the ground. He's sniffling a lot and the spell is weak and hard to hear.]

Sakura nee-chan's in the library?! I'll help her, I promise!! I won't let you down Naruto! Just make sure you're there to help me save everyone![There's a short cry of pain from Konohamaru and it sounds like he fell down before the spell cuts out]

[there are rumbles, shaking the journal with the pound of many feet heading in the same direction. A breeze starts up again, and pages flip and flip. There is a faint murmur in the background, a younger Naruto's voice appearing to be quoting a list of pranks 'to be done'.]
