Eeeee! No, definitely not awful.

Favorite one-liner of this chapter: "the fact that he has to go through the last four semesters of his college education again makes him want to cry sometimes". I would too! Good to see that he intends to get better grades this time around, but somehow I don't see that actually happening... XD

I actually thought about this fic long enough to come up with a theory about how the reset happened--Arthur somehow still has SOME kind of connection with the supernatural, and Flying Mint Bunny or someone didn't want to just let that accident end his life so quickly or so soon. So, they went about working on a reversal, but some spell setups take a while, and after some time they noticed what Alfred was up to. So... when the spell was complete, to let it all mean something they let him remember what had happened the first time around.

...probably not at ALL what you have in mind, but felt like sharing. ;-)

O-ho, look at you go. Very interesting theory, though I actually have to admit that I'm really not decided on how it happened myself. Someone on FFnet suggested that the journal had some sort of magical properties, but I really don't know which way I'm going to roll with this.

But I think it's great that you actually took the time to come up with your hypothesis! /is flattered
