Survived my first day of classes yesterday!

It went great, my concepts in computers course was a breeze. We're the mid-quarter start so there were only five of us. The instructor taught us photoshop (can't speak for everyone, but it sure felt like review to me) and we made cheesy wallpapers. Homework is to make another cheesy wallpaper. That's really awesome. Having fun was definitely the thing that sorely lacked when I was taking classes, so what a great step forward in that respect. XD

Glad to hear you're liking things. If you don't mind my asking, where are you going to school? Because if you're school is supplying you with a tablet to work with, HOLY HELL I WANT TO BE THERE. My community college is nice and all, but using a mouse is hell. :|

Also, I might be able to help you get a copy of SAI. I might have a product key saved somewhere on my computer/flash drive. If I still have it and you're interested I can email or PM it to you.

I know your pain, for about the first year and a half of my venture as a digital artist my tools composed entirely of oekaki and a dodgy laser mouse. xD

I'm attending the Art Institute of Seattle and thoroughly enjoying it so far. From the financial aspect...maybe not the best pick of schools. Depends on how the cards are played once I'm out of here, I guess. xD But it's the closest to my home state where we are lame and do not have any art program that isn't half-assed. And it seems like the staff really know their stuff, I've been here a total of four days and I've learned a lot.

WHAT REALLY YOU ARE MY HERO FOREVER. Seriously if you find it and you're willing to part with it I will be eternally grateful. D'8 I know there are other ways around getting the program, but a.) I like to do things fair and b.) my hacker skills, on a scale of one to ten, are probably about a negative five.
