More like BORED on the 4th of July.

I saw The Incredible Hulk last night. I have to say that I was very impressed, and enjoyed it all the way through. Everyone did a decent job on acting, and the action sequences were wonderfully choreographed. And the fight between the Abomination and the Hulk? Brutal and awesome.

Well, I ran my first D&D game last night. I think it went pretty well. There are definitely a few issues I need to iron out, though. And most of those deal with how I run the game. Of course, a lot of the players need to get used to the system and how the game works. Especially the combat system, a few are taking way too long to decide what to do. ( Read more... )

Not only does Dad know who Iron Maiden is, but they covered a song by one of his favourite artists. On their album Piece of Mind they did Cross Eyed Mary, originally performed by Jethro Tull. Lucky for me I like Jethro Tull, too. At first I thought they were relatively lame. Sure the idea of a rock flute sounded awesome, but also cliche. Granted, ( Read more... )
