After hearing about so many relationship issues from people this weekend, I'm finally glad to be single. Also worth noting: I'm moving to Sarasota in June-ish and the young professional crowd is growing there.... hopefully that means prospects will be realistic.  I start med school tomorrow. Again. Year two that is. Oh dear.

I  adopted two baby kittens today! Their two little girls and they are named Chase & Cameron. (I had picked out the names before I went so I realize Chase isn't exactly a girl's name but I don't care... they're just cats.) lol Anyway, I get to bring them home tomorrow & I am super excited!!!

Today at church, Bernie spoke on Colossians 2:8-10ish. Basically, he was saying that it doesn't matter what we want. God offers us better. He offers us a twenty while we demand the pennies. Kinda hit me head on.

It's not about me. I should stop being so selfish. We search for fillers. None of the stuff I want brings fulfillment. Only He does.

Today I went to a baby shower. It was lovely. The baby is a month old. She was teeny tiny and I loved holding her. Everyone was joking about getting pregnant and I was even asked if I now want one. *rolls eyes* As if that's an option ( Read more... )
