So, we're planning another Saco River trip on July 11-13th... Going up Friday morning and hopefully having the canoe in the water by mid-morning... Plan on canoing floating DRINKING all day on the water until we find a suitable campsite for the weekend... I still contend this is one of the best little secrets in New England. The mountain has only been open for a few years (after a long hiatus) and it's never busy, cheap, with great people.
