It's nearly 1 AM, and it's still 86 in my room. Which is better than the 88 outside, but not by much. I just may have to go buy a window unit tomorrow, seeing how I have the hottest room in the house. This is a little unbearable.

There's nothing that quite brings back nostalgia in me than music. I lived a fairly sheltered life as a child, and it wasn't until around junior high that I started listening to anything except the oldies station my parents would have on. Power has been very wonky here at my place all morning. Apparently we've lost power briefly at least half a dozen times. Of course with nothing on in my room except my computer, which is on a UPS, and an alarm clock with a battery backup I hadn't noticed. Twelve hours in to a completely idiotic thing to do, and we're still not done with all 6 Star Wars. In fact, the The Empire Strikes Back is still playing. Of course now that we've got the coffee cake (as in a cake with a pot worth of coffee grounds baked in) I just may make it at least through the next movie and a half.

I didn't go to work at all Monday and Tuesday. Today I made it in, but feel like crap the whole time. I managed to stick it out for 5 hours (longer than I really should have, but I really felt like I should try and catch some stuff up). Let's hope I can make it through a whole day tomorrow.
