Longish day today. Worked a 10-5 shift, and I have decided that I am not cool with doing that often on Aikido days. I had to bike home, get dressed and taped up, then bike to the dojo. Didn't have nearly enough time to warm up, and was practically useless at class. It is also possible that I was seriously under-hydrated. I need a new water bottle ( Read more... ) -

I just got caught up on like two weeks of flist. This covers two weeks during which I was relatively busy, for me, and it felt so WEIRD to not be up-to-date on livejournal, even though so many people never post anymore or have migrated to tumblr or whatever. Well, today is a birthday, and I always make a birthday post, but I really do not know what to say about today that isn't more embarrassing than I can handle at the moment. Nobody is here and it is very boring.

Made some awesome plans last night and today and suddenly I can't wait for September. The short of it is this: I'm going to see the Timbers in New York and Philadelphia, and in Philly I'll be joined by two of my good friends from home. So I was out drinking with Hannah and Joanne last night and I have this really horrible, probably true suspicion that I left my ENTIRE BAG (including wallet) at the bar. Guys. I NEVER don't have my bag with me. It is like my life. If I do not get it back... well. I just have to, all right? I just have to.

I may have hurt my knee at Aikido tonight. It's some kind of sharp pain behind the kneecap, not the sort that's there constantly or even predictably, really. I have no idea what I did to it, but it wasn't going away so I sat out and iced my knee for most of class. It sucked. Being injured is complete crap ( Read more... )
