I don't like it when people say i don't try hard enough, or i don't apply myself or something for school, but it really truely is hard for me, even though i'm in stupid classes, idk what's wrong with me, it's just really hard...i can't do something that takes alot of thinking and steps (like math or something) or read something boring, or do ( Read more... )

people are good at different things.
school just isnt my thing and may not be yours.

There was some genius... I can't remember who .. but he SUCKED in school, they thought he was actually retarded, and he ended up being one of the greatest minds.
Todays thinking is that you need to be focused on certain things, if your mind wanders that means somethings wrong with you.
I think not, I think maybe your mind just works DIFFERENTLY than others, and you just need to find a different way of learning.
My son was in LD classes and failed two years in one school, in the next school he jumped THREE grades, (he's ahead for his age now)no LD classes and he's a math and violin GENIUS !
Don't be disheartened dear, everyone learns and thinks differently ;D
