Oh. lol. I'm a doofus. That's pretty much all there is to it.
I asked my econ teacher if Chinese people still had divine selection (like, the ruler is chosen by god). He laughed at me and said he "thought they abolished that 'son of god' ritual a few centuries ago." I laughed at me too. But now I feel stupid in a funny way.
