Why Kim never writes when there is people around:
Because they get nosy and want to know what you're writing and won't drop it and then they get mad when you don't tell them and threaten to scour your account to READ said stories.

I explained the concept of fanfiction my mom and she said, "Yeah, well. Okay. I don't understand, have fun." My dad on the other hand... definitely won't shut up about my stories. So I told him I was writing about "mountains" and he left me alone.

Okay, so there was these gravel pits outside my house when I was younger and in my first house. My brother and I used to play on them all the time; I started writing about them at that writing camp I went to in May, remember? Anyway, I was typing it onto the computer. I described them as "mountains". I just said mountains really quick to my dad so he would GET OUT and I could read incest porn.

Okay, now THAT'S scary. I never wrote porn when I shared a computer account with my family. I wrote simple little Draco/Ginny fluff and it was pretty bad anyway. Now, I have a password-locked administrative account (meaning no one can get it without a password and can't acess my files from another account) and a password locked laptop.
Me, paranoid? Nah.
