you shouldn't rely on your happiness to come from a girl. she's not always going to be there for you. so when she fails you... BOOM! instant sadness.

it's kind of like when evette wanted me to stop drinking for her... so i did. then stuff happened and we broke up... a blah, blah, blah. and now i still drink because it wasn't something i was doing for myself. it was for her.

i know what you're saying though. everybody needs a partner in their life. it's how we were designed. it just sucks that it's so hard to have trust and faith in other people.
