Aww, thanks :-) I'm taken to using a small percentage of filters on my banners -- kinda of like what I've seen with yours to get the same effect. I don't know how you get those diagonal lines to cover yours...but I'd like to know how -- another thing, how do you get your text to go sideways?

Ahh... the old pattern trick. My friend had to explain how to do that to me.
All right... so what you do first, for horizontal/vertical lines going trough your image, go to File-->New-->2 by 1 pixel or 1 by 2 pixel. then... zoom in using the navigator or the zoom tool, which-ever way you prefer, until you see two squares. Now, take the brush, and make it the smallest size. Then, choose a color you want the lines to be... preferably white, or in some cases, black... but white is better... anyway, then take the brush tool and color in one square. Make sure it's fully colored in. Then go to Edit-->Define Pattern(or texture, or something like that... BUT NOT "DEFINE BRUSH!!") and then name it whatever you want to name it. Then go to the image that you want to have the lines, and on the layers palette (the little box that shows all the layers), click on the little circle that is half black, and half white. Then click "Fill Pattern" or "Define Pattern..." something like that. Then, to not have the lines so... bold, you know, change it's
