This is my 'treasure chest' filled with all the odd jewelry I have acquired over the years. I actually care more about the jewelry box itself than I do anything inside it. Go figure.

The lion ornament that pulls open the bottom drawer.

This guitar was given to me by my Aunt Sally. I spend weeks upon weeks neglecting it, but it consumes me for months at a time. Yes, I sadly broke the little e string. Not even the cool way; I didn't get carried away while playing, I just re-strung it too tightly. Story.of.my.freakin.life.

This was given to my Mother by my Father when she was young. She gave it to me years ago. I find it beautiful and I take it with me everywhere. I think this ship in a bottle is what started my fascination with glass bottles. I have a collection (that I did't find reasonable to bring with me).

This is the claddagh ring my Mumsy brought back for me from her trip to Ireland years ago. I wear it everyday and have only lost it once...and I've lost just about all the rings I've ever worn. This is truly a miracle. There is a person on this planet that shares nearly every single one of my thoughts, and we experience many of the same experiences. It becomes quite eerie sometimes. Point is, is that we both have one. It's our SHFL membership ring. It has many meanings to me, so this is my number one possession.

Save for a dozen or so books by various authors in which I will gladly read over and over again.
Everything else is stored in sorely sorted boxes and crammed into my Aunt Sally's basement.
I care less about those objects everyday. I don't need them to live obviously. I enjoy not having many material objects. Less to cart around when I move every 6 months. If I could whittle down to one really large suitcase, that would be ideal.

Don't you feel complete now that you've seen these pictures?
I know.

Also, in my opinion (take it for what it's worth) Locked Up Abroad on the National Geographic Channel is one of the most riveting television shows out there. Everyone episode I have watched captivates my attention entirely; the directing and editing is awesome and the accounts are well written.
I do however have a favorite episode, and that is Bangladesh. The actress that plays Lia McCord is hands down the most beautiful woman I have ever seen (yeah, I'm entitled to a lesbian moment, it's my journal). The emotions she can portray in her facial expressions alone blew me away. I love her.
You should piece all the pieces together and watch the episode on youtube.
